Discover and enjoy the best places in Amsterdam together:
Highlypopular is Flinders Cafe (Frederick Hendrikplantsoen 36). Therefore, it is recommended to make a reservation during the weekends. At Flinders activities are organized, there is a nice play area, and even the smallest guests are thought of through diapers, baby milk and special menus.
Located on the Beuningenplein our next recommendation is Paviljoen Beuningen (Van Beuningenplein 21). The pavilion is located next to a playground and is a great place for a coffee and / or lunch.
When the weather is out, Westerpark is highly recommended. Besides a playground, you can enjoy a walk or have fun next to the water. Afterwards you can enjoy a drink and / or lunch at PacificPark, Espressofabriek or Westergasterras.
In the western port area around the corner from the children’s farm (de Dierencapel) Bickers aan de Werf (Bickerswerf 2), you have a wonderful view over the water and there is an offering of childrenmenu’s.
At Bosco (Eerste Constantijn Huygensstraat 9) there are toys, a high chair and a changing mat in place, and it is possible to order smaller portions. A bit further down the street from Bosco, is Cafe Toussaint (Bosboom Toussaintstraat 26) which also has toys, a high chair and a changing mat available.
A tip we have received from a parent is the WG Cafe (Marius van Bouwdijk Bastiaanse Street 52).
Cafe Kostverloren (2nd Kostverlorenkade 70) has toys and highchairs. In the Baarsjes is Edel (Postjesweg 1) you can enjoy a nice and spacious terrace on the waterfront. You’ll get a warm welcome at Rue de Sevres (Jan Galenstraat of 92) besides the pleasant change area and highchairs, there are many toys and craft supplies available.
Parents located near the Erasmus Park tipped us about the Terrasmus (next to the playground on the side of the Mercatorstraat).
In Bos en Lommer’s theater Mozaiek (Bos and Lommerweg 191) is a nice place to eat. And healthy smoothie is available at Bagels and Beans (Bos and Lommerweg 333).
