Weather permitting, the Vondelpark is a lovely place to walk and play games in the various playgrounds. At the Groot Melkhuis you can enjoy lunch in the sun on the lovely terrace, and behind the Groot Melkhuis you’ll find a large playground for even the smallest children. At Vondeltuin (Vondeltuin 7) you’ll encounter the great, quiet atmosphere of a beachpavilion and they offer children enough facilities to play. The Vondeltuin is only open during spring and summer.
At KinderKookKafe (Vondelpark 6B) you can walk into the help-yourself bar, your children can make their own drinks and snacks. Rangeing from making pizza, to decorating cookies or making delicious smoothies.
Enjoy delicious coffee at City House Coffee and Books (Koninginneweg 218), a large play area is on site.
A lovely Italian restaurant is Le 4 Stagioni (John Verhulststraat 32). Fast and friendly service, during the waiting period (which does not last very long) the kids get crayons.
Located in the pijp is the Mediterranean restaurant Bazar (Albert Cuypstraat 182), where you can have breakfast. Reservations are recommended if you want to enjoy the delicious menu. A play area and children’s highchairs are available. At MisterBean (Ceintuurbaan 326) the staff is very kid friendly and the spacious layout means you can sit easily with a stroller. There are some toys available.

In the Rivierenbuurt is @ 7 (Scheldestraat 92) where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or a coffee. Younger guests have their own menu and a nice playground.
