This Wednesday we will make a delicious, healthy and orange side dish:
Carrot and orange salad
What do you need for this orange salad?
- 450 grams of thinly sliced carrot
- 1 orange
- 4 teaspoons liquid honey
- 4 tablespoons of oil
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- salt and pepper
Place the carrot strips in a bowl, grate the orange zest of one orange in a separate bowl, and squeeze the orange afterwards.
To make the dressing: place the orange orange zest and orange juice in a bowl.
Add 4 teaspoons of liquid honey, 4 tablespoons of oil, a little salt and a little pepper. Stir vigorously.
Put a frying pan on the heat, without oil or butter! When the skillet is heated through, you can roast the sesame seeds lightly brown. Shake the pan occasionally to and fro.
Let the sesame seeds are cool on a plate.
Pour the dressing over the carrot strips and mix them well, then sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
